As of June 2010, Pacific Iron Ore had approximately 520 claims on Southwest Vancouver Island extending over an area far beyond the Pearson Project. Substantial further geological and ground exploration would be required to determine any commercial mineral potential in these wider claims. Depending on the results of the Exploration Programs, Pacific Iron Ore's management and Board of Directors will determine the best approach to the claims outside the Pearson Project.
